MAINTENANCE AND RETOUCH
How long your braids last will depend on how its being maintained. The best way to protect your hair in between washes is to treat the braids with the same respect as you treat your own hair. For very basic at home steps, moisturize your scalp with light weight oils( to avoid buildups), sleeping in a satin bonnet or scarf will help your hair stay fresh, if needed, shampoo your hair on week 5 or 6 with products that removes dirt, product buildup and excess oil.
You could also do a touchup to your braids which is re braiding the front, sides and back of your hair at a fraction cost.
Prior to this service take down 3 ROWS in the front (from ear to ear) and 2 ROWS all around. For better quality shampoo and blow dry hair without added products or oils prior to this service.
